33. Villaggio dei Fiori
Eucalyptus and banana trees, over a thousand palm trees, pine trees, aloe, rubber plants, giant strelitzias, Brachychiton and jacaranda trees, bougainvillea, and jasmine everywhere: we’re not in a Claude Monet painting, but at Villaggio dei Fiori, a camping village in a 3.5-hectare garden on the seafront in Sanremo. Using the bike path from Villaggio dei Fiori, you can reach the center of Sanremo in just 5 minutes. You can visit the famous Via Matteotti, the historic center, or the Ariston Theater.
Villaggio dei Fiori is just only 34 km from the Principality of Monaco (Monte Carlo). Free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, a children’s pool, and a whirlpool, all with seawater. Direct access to the small beach in the bay west of the village. The famous seafront bike path from Ospedaletti to Imperia (36 km) is adjacent to Villaggio dei Fiori. Electric bike rental on site

Sea and beaches
The long coastline of Diano Marina extends for over 3,5 km with shallow and sandy seabeds, suitable for children too. Equipped beaches, colorful umbrellas and fine golden sand: perfect elements for those who want to relax and enjoy the sun, but also for those who want to try their hand at sporting activities. The sea, with Caribbean colours, is home to the protected marine area of the “Pelagos” Cetacean Sanctuary: with boat excursions it is possible to admire the large mammals. Diano Marina boasts the Blue Flag recognition for the quality of its bathing waters and beaches.
Reception and events
Diano Marina has accommodation facilities for all needs, pedestrian streets, a beautiful seaside promenade, a city center with clubs and shops for shopping. Among the events, the “Dianese Carnival”, the “Infiorata of Corpus Christi“, “Aromatica, aromas and flavors of the Ligurian Riviera” (event dedicated to food and wine), the “White Night” at the beginning and end of summer, the “Estate Musicale Dianese Festival” and so on. The calendar of Summer events is very rich. Diano Marina is also culture: at the Civic Archaeological Museum it is possible to learn about the origins of the city and the history of the dolia recovered from the Roman ship sunk in the 1st century AD. in front of the Dianese coast. Furthermore, “Palazzo del Parco” is often home to important exhibitions.
Inland, outdoor, sport
A hinterland to be discovered, with the hamlets of Diano Calderina, Diano Serreta, Diano Gorleri, and Borgo Muratori, immersed in the greenery of olive groves, vineyards and cultivations of basil and flowers. Steep descents to tackle on two wheels, paths to run among olive trees and brooms, walks between ancient villages and Mediterranean scrub. Everything with a sea view, to be explored all year round. And also sailing, windsurfing, tennis, padel, etc.

For some years, Diano Marina and its area have represented the tourist destination in Liguria with the highest number of visitors, behind only the main town Genoa.
