Europe’s largest aquarium, an extraordinary experience including dolphins, sharks and hundreds of other species from the seas around the planet

Dolphins, penguins, reptiles and sharks – all 12,000 guests at the Aquarium in Genoa are ready to welcome visitors on an exciting journey of discovery into the underwater world. The Acquario di Genova is a sea within a world: 27 thousand square metres of exhibition space to learn to love the sea while having fun.

You can explore the 70 tanks or participate in the most popular experiences – “The Expert with You” and “Face to Face with the Dolphins” or “Night with the Sharks” and others available by prior booking only:

‘The Expert with You’ is an exclusive guided tour, where participants can choose the theme of their encounter with the Aquarium animals or choose from the proposals of Marine Mammals, Mediterranean Sea, Coral Reefs or Dangerous Animals.
An Aquarium biologist will accompany you on this special tour, which includes both observation of the exhibition tanks and access to some technical areas. Visitors can choose the date and time of their visit, which will be agreed with the facility’s staff after writing to the dedicated mail acquariodeep@costaedutainment.it

The ‘Expert with You’ is available every day, with bookings to be made at least 48 working hours prior to the visit.

‘Face to Face with Dolphins’ is the experience devised by the Acquario di Genova to allow people to experience the emotion of meeting these splendid animals.
Accompanied by an expert, participants have the opportunity to meet the trainers who care for the dolphins and to find out about how their work is carried out, including participating in some of their daily activities.
The experience, which can be enjoyed by visitors aged five and up, is intended for a group of up to five people belonging to the same household or living together.
It lasts 1 hour 45 minutes and is available every day, except Mondays and Fridays, at 8.40 a.m. Booking is mandatory, and must be made at least 3 working days prior to the chosen date, by e-mailing atupertudelfini@costaedutainment.it

‘Night with the Sharks’ is the unique thrill of experiencing the Aquarium at night and sleeping following the life cycle of the fish.
