Una Boccata d’Arte 2026 in Sori

From 20 June to 4 October 2026, the charming village of Sori, one of the gems of the Golfo Paradiso, will host one of the stops on the 7th edition of Una Boccata d’Arte.

Sori, one of the gems of Golfo Paradiso, will host the seventh edition of  ‘Una boccata d’arte’, from 20 June to 4 October 2026. On this occasion, it will host ‘Residence Time’, an exhibition by Dominique White, curated by Valentina Buzzi.

The event

‘Una boccata d’arte’ was launched in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, with the aim of bringing together contemporary artistic practices and places off the beaten track. This event is organised by the Elpis Foundation, in collaboration with Galleria Continua and with the support of Threes.
Every year, it involves 20 artists of different nationalities, 20 Italian villages from 20 different regions and 20 curators. The aim is to bring 20 contemporary art projects to life, engaging with the local community and the local area.

Dominique White

Dominique White’s work and research draw inspiration from the tradition of maritime ex-votos, reinterpreting forms linked to personal experiences and translating them into a contemporary language that straddles memory and transformation. ‘Residence Time’ refers to the biological concept of the same name, the biochemical and perpetual duration of matter’s presence within the marine ecosystem.
