Via del Sale (Salt Road), from the mountains to the sea by e-bike with shuttle service

Our excursion begins at the Casa del Romano mountain refuge, near the village of Fascia. From there, we enter the Antola Natural Park on our full E-MTBs, until we reach the summit of the mountain of the same name.

We then cross the Via del Sale, also known as the ‘Cammino Petronico’, an ancient mule track used for the commercial transport of salt, from which it takes its name, from the plain to the Ligurian Sea.

Along the way, we will pass through the villages of the Trebbia Valley. As we approach the coast, we will notice the terraces and dry stone walls used for growing vines and olive trees, typical of Liguria and a World Heritage Site, all while enjoying spectacular views with the sea in the background. The final destination is Nervi, the neighbourhood where our headquarters are located, specifically the small harbour.

Technical information: we start at an altitude of 1,500 metres with our full E-MTBs for 50 km of single track with a 1,000-metre elevation gain. This is more of a sporting tour than a tourist one, useful for putting your E-MTB skills to the test.
