All together: from the sea to the mountains
Lead municipality: Pietra Ligure
The project is led by the Municipality of Pietra Ligure, with project partners Finale Ligure, Loano, Borgio Verezzi, Tovo San Giacomo, and the Albenga branch of Anffas Onlus.
The “All Together: From the Sea to the Mountains” project involves the following local planning, in order to implement accessible services and experiences :
- creation of a path connecting the five municipalities;
- creation of donkey and horse experiences, guided by professional experts in Animal-Assisted Interventions;
- implementation of inclusive and accessible information tools;
- realization or upgrade of the museum equipments;
- realization or upgrade of public or equipped beach supplies;
- creation of ramps for easier access to the sea, to the relevant locations, and to the specific tourist attractions;
- activation of at least one job placement;
- organization of two targeted events.
Services and activities
The planned activities include outdoor experiences with animals; cultural and sports workshops; and beach assistance services.
Some examples of cultural workshops include library readings, museum activities, interactive theater, dinner in the dark, blindfolded kneading, and marine exploration. Sports workshops include sailing, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, daytime and nighttime snorkeling, personalized lessons in the pool and on the field, motorboat trips, and physical activity in the water.
Targeted communication activities will also be planned, including the production of project videos for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, as well as targeted campaigns on social media and ononline newspapers in Northern Italy and abroad.
