Barrier-free travel, between sea, ceramics, and history
Lead municipality: Savona
The project is led by the Municipality of Savona, with project partners Albisola Superiore, Albissola Marina, Celle Ligure, Stella, the Albisola Ceramisti Association, Laltromare Onlus, Bandiera Lilla Coop. Soc, and Dafne Coop. Soc.

The project “Travel without barriers, between sea, ceramics, and history” involves the following local planning:
- targeted cultural experiences;
- VSB at the Maiolica Festival;
- increasing museum accessibility, including widespread accessibility;
- upgrading the accessibility of public and private beaches;
- Training internships;
- Training courses for tourism professionals.
Services and activities
The planned activities include
- experiential tour aimed to explain and explore local history, local culture, and local fine ceramics;
- a Ceramicabili workshop on the beach, offering hands-on experience in ceramic making and coloring;
- accompaniment at sea service.
Targeted communication activities will also be planned, including:
- specific project sections on municipal websites, with accessible graphics and with the possibility of booking and downloading museum audio guides;
- promotional activities on the web, on social media, and on SharryLand-The Map of Wonders, a partner of the Bandiera Lilla accessible Municipalities.
