Tigullio walk between Mountains, Sea and Villages 5 days 4 nights
The Cammino nel Tigullio tra Monti, Mare e Borghi (The Tigullio Walk between Mountains, Sea and Villages) is a 65 km long ring trek starting from and returning and to Chiavari. The route is divided into five comfortable stages of about 13 km each. It first tackles the pre-Apennine ridge, reaching the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montallegro at 612 metres above sea level in its first stage, at the end of the second stage, we will reach the most imposing peak in the Gulf of Tigullio, Manico del Lume, at 801 metres above sea level. The thirds stage descends from Sant’Andrea di Foggia, arriving first at Rapallo and then climbing up towards Ruta di Camogli, after having enjoyed the magical views of the Ruderi di Valle Christi and those of the Lazzaretto di Bana. Once in Ruta, we will continue on to Monte di Portofino to end our third stage here. The fourth stage will take us to San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte (Camogli) and then to Portofino by boat, and from there to Santa Margherita Ligure. The fifth and last stage will take us to San Michele di Pagana, Rapallo, Zoagli, and finally back to Chiavari by sea.
