A good movie on the beach while laying down with the waves and the moon on the background. Or in an open-air arena, pampered by the summer breeze. Or a good movie in the alleys of an historic center crowded by friends. Or, again, watching the movie with the help of wi-fi technology and headphones.

The “Cinema on the beach” is for children and it is scheduled from the 4th to the 25th of July. The Ceriale’s lido in the city center is transformed into an open-air hall, every Tuesday evening.

Genoa: open-air cinema arenas

In Genoa, Circuito Cinema Genova sets up three open-air arenas: Sturla, Palazzo Ducale and Genova Pegli.
– The third edition of “Circuito sul mare“, in the Sturla Gardens, maintains the formula of the screen in front of the sea, deckchairs, headphones, a table, snacks and drinks at the Bistrot sul mare. Program at circuitocinemagenova.com/sturla
– The seventh edition of Circuito Cinema al Ducale in the suggestive setting of the Cortile Maggiore of Palazzo Ducale in Genoa in silent cinema mode. Each spectator receives a headset with which to watch the movie. Program from 3 to 31 July at circuitocinemagenova.com/ducale
– Open-air Cinema in Pegli, in “silent cinema” mode: at the Arena degli Artisti on the Pegli seafront with a program from Thursday 6 July to 31 July.

A Santa Margherita Ligure, dal 14 al 16 luglio c’è l’occasione di vedere sul grande schermo le bellezze del territorio e anche due film ambientati a “Santa”:
– Friday, July 14 will be screened “Back to September” film of 1961 with Gina Lollobrigida and Rock Hudson shot right in Santa Margherita Ligure.
– Saturday 15 July, another film made in “Santa” and that is “Il Volpone” film from 1988 with, in the cast, Paolo Villaggio, Enrico Montesano, Eleonora Giorgi.
– Sunday 16 July, the screening of Gilberto Govi’s most famous comedy “Maneggi per marimare unadaughter”.
