San Terenzo and Fiascherino

Equally worthy of a visit are the nearby hamlets of San Terenzo, where you can find a historic castle from the 1400s along with luxurious villas, where many artists have made their home over time, plus Fiascherino, with its enchanting coves and beaches that have earned this stretch a Blue Flag for many years.

Villa Magni, in the hamlet of San Terenzo, hosted Percy Bysshe Shelley and his wife Mary from April to September 1822.

A special Christmas

One of Tellaro's most evocative traditions is the Natale Subacqueo the Underwater Christmas, where the statue of the Baby Jesus emerges from the waters, cradled by divers and placed in a manger set up on a boat, illuminated by the light from candles and fireworks.

In Lerici, you can find itineraries designed for families, combining easy walks, fabulous landscape views and literary references

The feast of Sant’Erasmo in Lerici

On the first Saturday of July each year, the Feast of Sant’ Erasmo, the patron saint of sailors, is celebrated with a grand procession by night in the bay, lit up by thousands of candles. A statue of the saint is carried through the village streets then taken aboard a ferry, escorted by numerous boats. .
