Liguria hosts the Italian Orienteering Cup: in Arenzano the discipline that helps you discover the territory Saturday 29th of March, 2025
The competitors, coming from Italy and abroad, will compete in the streets and mountains of Arenzano on Saturday 29th of March in a stage of the Italian Orienteering Cup.
Orienteering
It is a discipline that links sport and tourism thanks to its ability to enhance the territory: Orienteering is a race where participants use a detailed map to reach the control points by choosing the best route. Born at the beginning of the 20th century in Scandinavian countries – with several disciplines, even curious ones,such as orienteering race (Foot-O), Mountain bike orienteering (Mtb-O), Canoe-O and others – it has an ever-increasing following of enthusiasts, and allows you to know and discover a territory in its details. The competition categories, from 10 to 80 years old, have been designed to ensure the participation of athletes of all ages and abilities, in line with the founding values of orienteering.
