Portofino Marathon

Running in Portofino, in an extraordinary setting, in a location that is a true postcard of Liguria known worldwide. On Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, the Portofino Marathon will be held for the first time.

The Course

The race will start in Santa Margherita Ligure and head towards Portofino, with a turnaround and return to Santa Margherita, then continue towards Rapallo. After a loop through the town, the runners will return to Santa Margherita for the finish.

Running the Marathon in Portofino

With the Portofino Marathon, the three gems become Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Rapallo. The 42.195 km race will be framed by the sea of the Portofino Park, offering breathtaking views in a mild climate, even in winter. Many athletes from all over the world will participate, making this race a future regular event for marathon enthusiasts, alongside races in New York, Chicago, Rome, Berlin, and others.
