32nd National Truffle Festival in Val Bormida

From October 4 to 6, 2024, the XXXII National Truffle Festival of Val Bormida returns to the charming medieval village of Millesimo with many new features.

With its colours and especially its flavours, the XXXII National Truffle Festival of Val Bormida in Millesimo is the perfect opportunity to fully enjoy the start of the autumn season in Liguria. Famous for its characteristic triangular shape, the picturesque Gaietta Bridge, and even more for its truffles, the ancient medieval village of Millesimo and its historic centre will offer a series of stands and activities during a weekend that is accessible to everyone, whether you are a connoisseur or not!

The event is scheduled for October 4 to 6 and will feature exhibitors, street food stands, partner restaurants, concerts, circus performances, exhibitions, trekking, markets, and truffle hunting competitions.

An authentic gem protected by nature in Val Bormida, in Italy’s most forested province, Millesimo is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy. It offers all nine edible varieties of truffles, carefully preserving the tradition of hunting, digging, and truffle cultivation passed down from father to son since ancient times. This connection to the land and the heritage of the past will be the central theme of the XXXII National Truffle Festival of Val Bormida, an edition sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests (MASAF), which will unofficially begin on Thursday, September 28, and will also feature performances and an original street theatre throughout the village.
