The Borgio Verezzi Theatre Festival, 58th edition this year, is a national theatrical review showcasing numerous premieres for the upcoming winter season.

The festival

The Borgio Verezzi Theatre Festival is a prestigious summer event held in Borgio Verezzi since its founding in 1967 by Enrico Rembado, a historic mayor. The performances take place in the enchanting setting of Piazza Sant’Agostino, a naturally suited venue for theatre. Over the years, many actors, directors, and entertainment personalities have graced its stage.

Programme of Borgio Verezzi Theatre Festival

There will be 23 performances from from July 8th to august 13th with the Festival’s Artistic Direction has been entrusted to Maximilian Nisi.

Prizes during the Festival: the Veretium Prize, a national prose award, is presented by the jury to the actor or actress who has particularly distinguished themselves in the past theatre season through text engagement and interpretive skill and the The Best Emerging Actor Award.
