Euroflora 2025
Euroflora 2025 will take place from 24 April to 4 May 2025 in Genoa, in the incredible setting of the Waterfront di Levante, within the former Genoa exhibition district, because – as the slogan says – Nature takes its space.
It will be a new and surprising district that will host Euroflora from 24 April to 4 May: the area between Piazzale Kennedy and the Palasport, featuring a tensile structure, water spaces, and finally the Jean Nouvel Pavilion at the renewed Fiera di Genova.
Euroflora 2025 and the New Urban Spaces
The floral exhibitions will take place in the Foce district, just a stone’s throw from the centre of Genoa, within the area now renamed the Waterfront di Levante, designed by Renzo Piano. A major green hub will extend from the newly developed Parco di Piazzale Kennedy, through the Palasport arena, and continue into the seafront spaces. The 13th edition of Euroflora will also serve as a competition, aimed at promoting creativity and innovation in landscape design.
Flowers by the sea
With Euroflora, Genoa is being revitalised through new seafront spaces, including a 30,000-square-metre urban park and a floating pathway within the marina. Starting with rare and exceptional floricultural productions, Euroflora embraces themes such as landscape architecture, species conservation, environmental respect, and sustainability. A visit to Euroflora symbolises a lifestyle rooted in a vision towards green tourism.
A Grand Exhibition
Thanks to the new layout, floral compositions, cut flowers, and bonsai are displayed on the upper level of the Jean Nouvel Pavilion. The same area hosts the Green Market, offering plants, equipment, and technologies for floriculture and gardening. The net exhibition area has nearly tripled, expanding from 35,000 to 85,000 square metres. The number of gardens has also increased, now standing at 144 compared to the previous edition’s 90. The pathway, designed by architect Matteo Fraschini using 4.0 agriculture technologies and IIT innovations, connects unique experiences such as the Egyptian Museum and today’s finest floricultural varieties. Highlights include towering 10-metre-tall “green origami” structures for viewing floral installations, a “flowering mirador” in Piazzale Kennedy, and 70 floating points leading to the Jean Nouvel Pavilion, where a long pedestrian bridge awaits visitors inside.
A journey Around the World at Euroflora 2025
The exhibition is also designed as a place for sharing expertise, inspirations, and passions. Four “Arenas” will host events, demonstrations, and debates. The historic Palasport venue will feature a display of many floral species. The finest Italian floricultural productions will be showcased, ranging from Liguria, Piedmont, and Lombardy to Tuscany, Marche, Campania, Puglia, and Sicily, with individual appearances by some of Italy’s top floriculturists. International highlights include the twin events Floralies de France and Nirp, the Jardin Exotique of Monaco with its stunning succulent specimens, and representations from Spain’s Murcia, the leading Iberian horticultural district, as well as China’s Guangzhou district. From Asia, the return of Thailand is highly likely, while Bhutan will make its debut appearance.
