March in Liguria

March in Liguria: from March 3rd to March 23rd, 2024, a magical blend of art, music, theatre, nature, and wines.

The territory, the labour of man, becomes a spectacle: in March in Liguria, Pino Petruzzelli’s new project tells the stories of Ligurian wine and winemakers in four major events blending theatre, music, and wine.

The Stories of Wine in Liguria

Organised by the GOG (Giovine Orchestra Genovese) and the Centro Teatro Ipotesi, with the patronage of the Liguria Region, March in Liguria will see great interpreters and musicians together with the wine excellence of the four Ligurian provinces as absolute protagonists. Exceptional locations include four villages, one per province, chosen for their history, art, and excellence, places to discover and visit in every season. A way to savour, during the same evening, theatrical performances, musical interludes by maestros, and a variety of wines from the region.

The Event

At each of the four events, there will be alternating performances on stage: concerts in collaboration with the GOG – Giovine Orchestra Genovese and excerpts from the theatrical show “Stories of Men and Wines – I am my work,” written, directed, and performed by Pino Petruzzelli, created from two years of interviews with Ligurian winemakers, co-produced by the National Theater of Genoa.

All performances will be free to attend, starting at 4:00pm. At the end of the performances, there will be a tasting organised by the Regional Wine Shop of Liguria.
