Sarzana Senza Tempo takes the city back to the times of Lorenzo the Magnificent, held at the Firmafede Fortress on the 5th and 6th of October 2024.

The grand reenactment
The event consists of two Renaissance days: the Firmafede Fortress will host the reenactment of the 1487 war between the Florentines of Lorenzo the Magnificent and the Genoese of Gianluigi Fieschi, a battle that razed the original fortress to the ground, which Lorenzo the Magnificent later replaced with the current Citadel. Its gates will open, and inside there will be artisan markets, falconry activities, performances, and duels, culminating in Lorenzo the Magnificent’s tournament and the final procession.
