In the footsteps of the wolves
Ready for an adventure? With this experience, a medium-challenging trek awaits us, along the ancient Salt Roads that connect Piedmont to the Ligurian coast since the Middle Ages. We will talk about biology but above all about coexistence with the wolf, this large predator that has returned permanently throughout the Alps and Apennine.
The guided trekking takes place in Alta Val d’Orba, an area rich in paths and different natural environments based on microclimatic conditions that change quickly, making this area a true treasure chest of biodiversity.
Activity carried out in Stewardship with LIFE WolfAlps EU Project, a cross-border project for the coexistence between humans and wolves in the Alps.
