Alvi Trail Liguria

The ‘Alvi Trail’ Liguria is an international ultra-trail and a journey along the trails of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri (Ligurian Mountain High Way) and the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre (High Way of the Five Lands).

Alvi Trail, the most international race in Liguria, with athletes coming from 17 countries around the world, is a beautiful 400 km trail that takes place in 7 stages and covers the stages of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri.

Through 7 regional parks with constantly changing and captivating environments and landscapes, athletes complete various stages with stops at base camps and spend the evening and night before the scheduled departure the following day.

Three main characteristics define this ultra-trail: the legendary nature of a tough and tactical race on consistent highly technical trails, the discovery of the Ligurian inland, its nature, culture, artisanal products, and gastronomy, and the camaraderie of moments spent together during dinners featuring local cuisine. Friendship develops and strengthens from stage to stage among the athletes.
