Sestri Ponente: Monte Gazzo Loop

As an enthusiast of the MTB world, I am fortunate to travel and explore many trails in Italy and around the world. I’ve seen many routes, but Gazzo, located in the hills of Sestri Ponente, remains a special place, I would even say it’s my favourite.

The trails are not exceptionally long, but they are all well-connected to one another, offering a perfect framework to decide the intensity of your outing and the level of difficulty.

It’s a must to stop at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Gazzo, as it feels like entering Google Earth and watching Genoa and the coast from Monte di Portofino to Capo Noli on the screen, but in ultra-high definition! Despite its proximity to the city, breathtaking panoramas will not be lacking!
