“Resonances”, the theme of Electropark 2024, the electronic music and performing arts festival that will shake up Genoa and the Tigullio between June and July. The festival will have two intro events: at the Teatro della Tosse (June 1st) and at Palazzo Ducale (June 19th-22nd), followed by a day of Opening Acts (July 11th).
The festival
Featuring national premieres, international artists, and a gender-balanced lineup from countries around the world including Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Spain, Tunisia, France, Denmark, Poland, Italy, South Africa, and Egypt. Electropark has grown into a staple event for high-level international music, attracting a diverse audience of young people and enthusiasts of all ages.
The Programme
Electropark 2024 kicks off with two intro events: at the Teatro della Tosse (June 1st) and at Palazzo Ducale (June 19th-22nd), followed by a day of Opening Acts (July 11th). This is likely the most international edition of Electropark ever, featuring 40 artists from around the world, selected based on national premieres and gender parity, with about 70% of the lineup being women. The festival begins on Saturday, June 1st, with a 16-hour non-stop event at the Teatro della Tosse, followed by an installation/live performance at Palazzo Ducale from June 19th-22nd, Opening Acts on Thursday, July 11th, and programming from July 12th-14th at various venues including Darsena, Galata Museo del Mare, Virgo Club, and San Michele di Pagana. Guests include Yousuke Yukimatsu, Lyric Dela Cruz, Juliana Huxtable, Jasss, Deena Abdelwahed, McKenzie Wark, Courtesy, Francesca Heart, Sofie Birch, and Antonina Nowacka.
