Outside and inside the Ariston: side events at the Sanremo Festival
A thousand side events will immerse you in the magic of Sanremo during the Festival week which takes place from the 11th to 15th of February 2025.
The Sanremo Festival is immense: it won’t just take place inside its temple, the Ariston Theatre, but will involve the entire City of Flowers. From the 11th to 15th of February, Sanremo will be buzzing with events, shows, exhibitions, and surprises.
The Eni Carpet
The much-anticipated point of connection between singers and their fans, the green carpet traditionally laid in front of the Ariston, is signed by Eni this year and will welcome personalities, artists, and the eagerly awaited parade of competing singers starting from 11th of February at 8:30 p.m. This year, the Eni Carpet will feature scenic arches designed to invite the public and artists to interact by singing together, generating playful displays of lights and sounds. Another luminous and sound installation will be set up at Pian di Nave, near the Fortezza di S. Tecla.
The Rai Radio 2 Box Studio
Rai Radio 2, the official radio station of the Sanremo Festival 2025, will broadcast live from Via Matteotti (OVS), the Box Studio in Piazza Borea d’Olmo, and the Blue Room backstage at the Ariston. In addition to Ema Stokholma and Gino Castaldo, long-standing commentators for the festival nights, there will be numerous guests, joined by daytime programme hosts and others, including Brenda Lodigiani, Giulia Vecchio, and Carlo Amleto.
Suzuki Stage in Piazza Colombo
In Piazza Colombo, the heart of Sanremo, stands the Suzuki Stage — a grand platform open to five major artists performing from Tuesday to Saturday in connection with the Ariston: Raf, Big Mama, Ermal Meta, Benji and Fede, and Tedua, accompanied by Jody Cecchetto and Mattia Stanga throughout the festival week. The stage will be inaugurated on Saturday, 8th of February, at 6 pm. with young artists from Area Sanremo, who will offer the audience a special show, preceded by a performance by Urban Theory.
The Costa Toscana Ship
Anchored off the coast of Sanremo, the Costa Toscana will host five evenings connected to the Festival, featuring extraordinary guests. Its arrival on Sunday, 9th of February, from 6:30 pm, will be marked by the Grand Opening Waves of Music — an extraordinary event that will light up Sanremo Bay with a spectacular display of musical fireworks and an enchanting dancing light show on the sea, organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Sanremo. The ship will then depart for a mini Mediterranean cruise, stopping in Barcelona, Marseille, and Civitavecchia, before returning to Sanremo on 14th of February for the Festival’s final night on 15th of February, featuring a live performance by Planet Funk from the ship’s stage.
Casa Sanremo
Casa Sanremo is the hospitality hub of the Italian Song Festival. Since 2008, it has hosted events for journalists, artists, and industry professionals who gather in Sanremo each year for the festival. It serves as a technical hub, a lounge, and a creative space where ideas and key collaborations are born.
Festival Village at Villa Ormond
Villa Ormond, an elegant villa surrounded by greenery and home to the Flower Museum and the Liberty Pedriali Pavilion, hosts the Festival Village — one of the most popular destinations for singers, entertainment figures, institutions, guests, influencers, and journalists. Visitors can enjoy a unique Festival experience, surrounded by celebrities, VIPs, and artists, with an immersive journey through music, fashion, art, culture, and gastronomy. The Sanremo Festival Village will be located in the park of Villa Ormond from the 9th to 15th of February.
A Pian di Nave
Forte Santa Tecla
The Genoese fortress overlooking Sanremo’s harbour, Forte Santa Tecla, will host an exhibition dedicated to the values and emotions of Milano-Cortina 2026. The exhibit will combine music, culture, and sport for an immersive journey into the magic of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The exhibition will open on Monday, 10 February, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and from Tuesday, 11th of February, it will be open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Ferris Wheel
In Piazza Pian di Nave, the 28-metre-high Veralab Skincare Ferris Wheel will offer breathtaking views of the seafront of the City of Flowers. It will open on Sunday, 9th of February, operating daily from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm.
