360° of outdoor activities in the Ligurian Alps Park

In the Ligurian Alps Park, every activity becomes an experience: in all seasons of the year, at a short distance from the Riviera dei Fiori, you can enjoy 360° of panoramas of the Alps and the Ligurian Sea, hot spots of biodiversity and nature, the art and stonework of the historic villages, the typical flavours of the hinterland, and ancient local traditions.

Every week, the schedule of experiences is enriched with the initiatives and events proposed by the Park Authority, guides, Municipalities, associations and tourist operators in the area: guided hikes on trails from the famous Alta Via dei Monti Liguri to the Percorsi della Memoria (Paths of Memory), thematic trips to discover flowers and fauna, e-bike or mountain-bike itineraries, canyoning adventures, horseback riding.

The highest peak in Liguria and the largest beech forest: besides Monte Saccarello and the Bosco di Rezzo, there are also the botanical and geological paradises of Toraggio, the Navette larch grove, the Arroscia waterfalls, the Gouta and Gerbonte forests.

Don’t miss the tour of portals and frescoes in the villages and the visits to farms, restaurants and farmhouses with the typical Cucina Bianca (White Cuisine), Triora bread, mountain pasture cheeses and other local delicacies: from the Slow Food Presidia of Brigasca Sheep Toma cheese, Vessalico garlic, Pigna white bean and Western Liguria Black Bee honey, to Triora saffron, Pornassio DOC Ormeasco wine and extra virgin olive oil.

In 2021, the Regional Natural Park of the Ligurian Alps was awarded the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas (CETS), the international recognition that certifies virtuous land management in tourism and allows entry into the Network of Sustainable Destinations at international level. The prestigious certification, which was granted for the first time to a regional park in Liguria, was awarded by the Europarc Federation.
