18° The Two Pearls Half Marathon

The Half Marathon of the Two Pearls will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024. The race, covering a distance of 21 km, ideally connects Santa Margherita Ligure (GE) to Portofino with a long, colorful serpent of runners on a round-trip course, in one of the most picturesque settings in the world: on one side, the sound of the sea, on the other, the green of the pine trees of the Portofino mountain, passing by the Cervara Abbey, the Bay of Paraggi, Portofino's square, and the wonderful finish in the seaside gardens of Santa Margherita Ligure. Not to be missed, the day before, on February 3rd, are also the Portofino Run and the Corri Santa.

The Andersen Trail

An enchanting event, just like the writer it is named after: on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in Sestri Levante, the city of the famous Andersen Prize, the Andersen Marathon Trail will take place, a running race recognized by Fidal starting from Mandela Park. Three distances are available: Andersen Marathon Trail, a 47 km race with a positive elevation gain of 2400 meters; Andersen Half Marathon Trail, a 22 km route with a positive elevation gain of 1200 meters; Andersen Run Trail of 12 km, with a positive elevation gain of 700 meters. All three routes provide breathtaking views of the sea.

Marchesato Trail "E. Fossati"

The Marchesato Trail will take place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Finalborgo along the Ermano Fossati trail, just steps away from the coast and the Ligurian capital of Outdoor activities, Finale Ligure. There are three technical routes: a more challenging one covering 60 km with a 3000 m elevation gain, another of 38 km with a 2200 m elevation gain, and finally, a 16 km route with a 1000 m elevation gain. Among trails, caves, castles, and cliffs, in an area considered one of the most beautiful and famous in Italy for extreme outdoor sports.

1° Caprione Epic Trail

Caprione Epic Trail is in its first edition, but it already shows great promise. The race, organized by Running Station Team Lerici on March 3rd, will take athletes along the trails of the Caprione Promontory, within the Montemarcello Magra Regional Natural Park, between Lerici, Tellaro, Ameglia, and Montemarcello. There are three routes: 32 km with an elevation gain of 1800 m; 18 km with an elevation gain of 1000 m; Non-competitive, open to all, 12 km with an elevation gain of 700 m.

6° Sanremo Urban Trail

On March 10th in Sanremo, the Sanremo Urban Trail will take place, a true springtime celebration of running. The SUT is a race that will allow you to give your best in the 10 km urban, 32 km Trail, and 60 km ultra trail categories. You can choose to compete or not, take a leisurely walk with the 5k; whether to compete on the road in the 10k or off-road with the 32 km and 1750 meters of elevation gain, or on the ultra-distance of 60 km that will take you through the hinterland of 7 different municipalities. The scenarios will be no less stunning, such as the beautiful church of Madonna della Costa (in the photo) overlooking Sanremo.

The Sciacchetrail

The Sciacchetrail will take place on March 23rd along the unique path in the world of the Cinque Terre, an imaginary line that will connect wine, sanctuaries, villages, nature, and communities, starting and ending in Monterosso al Mare, crossing the municipalities of Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore, and Vernazza Val di Vara. This year, in addition to the traditional 47 km in the Cinque Terre, a race of a remarkable 100 km will be organized, extending into the Val di Vara.
