Portofino Park- Dream Trails
Wandering around the trails in the park, which is open daily with free admission (from the Ruta di Camogli, from Nozarego-Santa Margherita, from Portofino), one can admire unique plants and perhaps meet the legendary mountain goats. Here, one can admire the large monumental trees in the protected area, which have just recently been counted by the University of Genoa. If you are lucky, you will see the peregrine falcon, a diurnal bird of prey that can be spotted from the Promontory, particularly above the Cala dell'Oro area.

Guided tours allow visitors to retrace the cave walkways leading to the surprising viewpoints offered by the military bunker emplacements.
The isolated village and the bunkers
In the heart of the park is San Nicola di Capodimonte, an isolated hamlet that developed around an ancient monastery in Portofino. From here, one of the tracks leads to a place called Batterie due to the presence of World War II anti aircraft batteries that have recently been restored by the Liguria Region and the Portofino Park Authority.
