UEC European Championships MTB Marathon (XCM) 2025

The next edition of the “Marathon dell’Appennino” will be held on Sunday 8th of June 2025 and will be valid as the UEC European Championships MTB Marathon (XCM) 2025. All the best names in the continental Marathon scene will come to compete in Casella (GE), represented by the various national teams.

In addition to the many associations and sponsors of the area, the continental event will also be supported by the Liguria Region, the Municipality of Casella and Genoa, the Metropolitan City of Genoa, the local Chamber of Commerce and the Antola Park.

The route

The route, with its 83 km and 2,500 meters of altitude difference, is rightfully among the most challenging classics of the calendar.
A route truly worthy of the international commitment that awaits it. The structure of the Casella Municipal Park will host all the pre- and post-race services, with the Race Village and the pasta party that will accompany the awards ceremony. You can reach Casella with the historic train.
