Abseiling – Abseiling excursion to the Ivy Cave – Finale Ligure
The Ivy Cave is a true wonder of nature. Suspended in a small valley behind Finalborgo, in fact it is not a real cave, rather an architectural mix inspired by the natural arches of the American Monument Valley and Mexican Cenotes, but without water!
The excursion includes a visit to the ancient Roman quarries, the Castrum Pertice and the Romanesque church of San Antonino. Once through its major arch, a 25-metre abseil in total vacuum will lead us into the basin where, with the headlamps switched on, a short underground excursion will take us to its base.
Accompaniment for the entire period of the excursion will be provided by a professional mountain guide (UIAGM – IVBV – IFMGA), registered in the Albo Guide Alpine Liguria (R.L. 17/12/ 2012), in good standing with third-party liability insurance policy.
The experience is also feasible for those who have no technical knowledge of abseiling (climbing or mountaineering experience).

All personal technical equipment that is not at your disposal (harness, helmet, headlamp, backpack, etc.) is provided by our organisation. The cost of the proposed activity is for a maximum of two participants (the cost indicated can be split). Different pricing for small groups. The transfer from the meeting place to the place where the activity starts can be carried out by clients’ private means of transport or, alternatively, the organisation can meet the clients at their accommodation (hotel, b&b, holiday home, flat, etc.). Clients must wear suitable footwear for approaching the walls (sports shoes for jogging or light boots) and take at least one litre of water and possibly a couple of energy snacks with them.
The reservation requires payment of 30% of the expected amount by bank transfer or credit card via PayPal or SumUp circuit. In the event of cancellation by our organisation, for reasons relating to the unsuitability of the venue (weather or other events) not attributable to our organisation and at our sole discretion for safety reasons, the amount will be refunded excluding the relevant cancellation fees. In the event of cancellation by the participants up to 48 hours before the day of the experience, the full amount will be refunded excluding transfer fees. In the event of notification after 48 hours, the organisation reserves the right to retain the amount paid.
An alternative date will be proposed in which to carry out the experience or a refund of the entire amount paid will be made, excluding any transition fees.
