The Red wine is dry and suitable for pairing with dishes such as thrush with juniper, hare pie in game sauce, truffle-crusted fillet, guinea fowl with mushroom cream, partridge terrine, and lightly aged cheeses. The White wine pairs well with seafood appetizers, fish pastas and risottos, and Ligurian soups. The sparkling version pairs nicely with Trombette zucchini gnocchi with salted anchovies and basil.

The Colline Savonesi IGP White wine is straw yellow in colour, more or less intense. On the palate, fruity flavours are complemented by saltiness and freshness. It may also be available in a sparkling version. The red wine presents itself with a ruby red colour, more or less intense. Its taste combines freshness and body with fruity undertones. The rosé wine is characteriaed by a pink colour and a dry, harmonious, and fresh taste. The passito wine has a beautiful golden yellow colour. On the palate, it offers balance with a persistent aftertaste.
How it's made
The wines under the Colline Savonesi IGP denomination primarily use the Alicante grape, also known as Granaccia, and Lumassina. The production area for Granaccia is particularly noted in the municipality of Quiliano. These wines should be stored horizontally in the lower compartments of the cellar, at a constant temperature between 10 and 14°C.
