From May 7th to May 12th, 2024, the Riviera Film Festival in Sestri Levante: cinema through the eyes of filmmakers under 35.
Sestri Levante. With its beauty, it’s like a movie set: the two bays, the beaches, the historic centre. But from May 7th to May 12th, the pearl of the Ligurian Riviera becomes the venue for one of the most interesting film festivals: the Riviera Film Festival.
L’evento
With thirty films in competition, screenings open to the public, four masterclasses, and various events, the Riviera Film Festival rediscovers hope in the future thanks to the best of new rebellious cinema, shot around the world by filmmakers under 35. The locations for the events and screenings are the Cinema Ariston, with a Red Carpet and the Festival’s opening ceremony, and the former Convent of the Annunciation.
The 2024 edition
While waiting to meet the great guests of international cinema and television expected in Sestri Levante next spring, the Riviera International Film Festival unveils the new author’s poster, created by the American artist Joe Dreher, also known as Joekingatl, and reveals the slogan of the eighth edition, “Unlimited Adventures.”
