Villages
From the coast to the inland, you will find a succession of houses and small villages in pastel colors, with strong traditions and authentic characteristics.
If you think you will find one village to visit per Municipality, you have certainly made an underestimate. Liguria is a land that resembles a nativity scene: shaped like a rainbow and with villages, hamlets and localities as its main characters. And they all have something to offer and, above all, a story to tell. It is no coincidence that Liguria has a prominent place in national associations of the most beautiful Italian villages such as the Borghi Arancioni or the Borghi più Belli d'Italia. Whether you decide to head inland or move along the coast, wherever you go you will find this medieval atmosphere, which represents the Ligurian essence, from the sea to the Apennine and Alpine areas. If after so many discoveries and beauties you work up an appetite, rest assured: every village has a little restaurant with its unfailing local recipe;and every area has its local products or typical recipes.
